According to Uber's annual lost and found index, riders in Miami were the most "forgetful" last year, helping the city claim the No. 1 spot from Jacksonville, 2022's winner (also in Florida). Los Angeles and Atlanta took the next two most-forgetful city spots.

For some reason, riders were especially lax on January 21.
And while it's not surprising that clothing was the No. 1 item left behind in 2023 in the US, Uber's recap also mentioned some, shall we say, more unique items that drivers discovered last year.
Among those strange findings were a framed Taylor Swift autograph and an entire Jeep Liberty engine.
While the longer list contains some doozies (a paternity test, anyone?), here are 10 of the weirdest items Uber said riders reported they lost in 2023:
