If you fell in love with the frivolously fashionable Netflix hit series Emily in Paris, now might be your chance to experience a little of the lavish lifestyle yourself.
You can step into the high-heeled shoes of the stereotypically American main character, played by actor Lily Collins, with an immersive trip organized by experiential travel company Dharma. The tour has official backing by streaming service Netflix and the experiences have been planned with help from the producers of the rom-com series.
“With a rich history and thriving art and fashion scenes, this trip is an opportunity to connect with like-minded people around the world,” the organizers promise. “Our itinerary is designed to balance adventure, fashion, gastronomy, cultural exchange and explore the hidden gems of the iconic French metropolis.”
The vacation is available for groups between eight and 16 people and lasts for four nights. Prices start from £2,155 ($2,617) per person, and flights are not included.
There are various Emily in Paris inspired activities included in the itinerary. On day one, you meet your host Ines Tazi, a French fashionista with two Netflix shows. You’ll join her for a round of Kir Royale at an apéritif before heading to a chic local bistro. On day two, you take an exclusive visit to design ateliers with Marylin Fitoussi, the head costume designer for Emily in Paris and relax at a rooftop bar for Lillet Spritz as the sun sets.
The third day includes a masterclass to learn how to bake classic pain au chocolat and a guided tour of filming locations for Emily in Paris. In the evening, you visit a boutique champagne house for some classy bubbles. Day four involves a photography masterclass to get outstanding Instagram content of the capital and a sexy aperitif in the evening with a lesson in the art of flirting.
Accommodation is in the Hôtel des Grandes Écoles, a complex of three 19th-century townhouses around a tree-lined courtyard. You’ll feel transported to the French countryside with the pretty floral wallpaper and elegant antiques. The hotel is in the heart of Emily’s neighborhood, where the vivacious marketing executive stops at colorful flower shops and pocket-sized cafes.
