In 2023, Paradisus by Meliá officially opened two new locations in Spain-Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote and Paradisus Gran Canaria.
In March, the Paradisus Gran Canaria made its debut as the first Paradisus in Spain.
The resort features 297 rooms and suites, with wellness facilities offering the latest technology, and nine dining areas where guests can experience global cuisine and traditional local flavors.

The second Paradisus to open in Spain was in Lanzarote. The Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote opened its doors in August and is an adults-only property with 282 rooms and villas.
In addition, guests can enjoy a 19,000-square-foot swimming pool, picturesque tropical gardens designed by César Manrique and seven distinct dining options.
The resort is the vision of Spanish architect Fernando Higueras and is and is nestled in a dreamy enclave, surrounded by the beautiful beaches of Costa Teguise and charming villages deep with culture.
