The Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is about to join an exclusive club.
As a matter of fact, there’s only one other member right now.
For the first time in 14 years, a hotel is adding balconies to some select rooms. The Paris will join the Cosmopolitan in adding balconies to some of its rooms. Bookings are now open. The myth about balconies and windows that don’t open in Las Vegas hotels appears to be just that -- a myth.
Now, some visitors can enjoy an open-air view of the spectacular neon lights and the nearby Bellagio fountains when staying at the Paris.
It is costly but expected to be about 20 percent less expensive than balcony rooms at the Cosmopolitan.
Vegas insider Scott Roeben of Vital Vegas said: “Caeser's Entertainment saw the goldmine of Cosmopolitan's balconies and followed suit (at Paris) by adding balconies facing the Bellagio fountains, for which they can get premium rates.”
He has over 200,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter), and Vital Vegas has been a primary source for local news for 10+ years.
Despite the expected cost, it is a prime spot overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and such events as the Formula 1 Grand Prix race that added Vegas to its roster of host cities last November. There are 38 brand-new balcony rooms in the newly renovated Versailles Tower. They’ll be available for bookings from Monday, July 22.
Las Vegas has emerged as one of the can’t-miss destinations in the world for sporting events.

The share of hotels sold via the direct channel in Spain increased by an average of 18% during the summer of 2024 over other channels thanks to the determination of the hoteliers to improve the profitability of the hotels again, according to data from Mirai. Although during the initial weeks of the UEFA Euro Cup 2024 sales growth slowed down, probably also due to the bad weather in Spain, in the last few days the company has observed that growth is picking up again. This rebound suggests a potentially very positive last-minute booking trend in most tourist destinations.
