It's a season of savings for travelers. Spirit Airlines just published dozens of one-way flight deals under $25, including flights to popular destinations including Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, and more.  The discount carrier published the offers in the «Popular Flight Deals on Spirit» section of their website, and the fares are available in limited supply with no published end date. All of the fares are in Spirit's «Go» class of service, which only includes one personal item and does not include carry-on or checked bag included in the price. Southwest Airlines is extending its flight schedule into early next summer and introducing new destinations from its Nashville hub. The airline, which usually releases its schedule eight months in advance, has just released its booking calendar through June 4, 2025, announced Wednesday. With the schedule update, the carrier has announced several key updates across its network. For starters, the carrier will expand significantly out of Nashville International Airport (BNA), which has been one of Southwest's fastest-growing hubs and newest crew bases.  Starting April 8, 2025, the carrier will begin daily service from Nashville to Albuquerque, Jackson, and Tulsa; as well as up to 6x weekly flights to Providence and up to 5x weekly flights to Albany. In addition, the airline will offer “intra-Tennessee service for the first time” with its brand-new, once-daily service from Nashville to Memphis.  “The new flights will boost Southwest’s scheduled presence in Nashville to an all-time high of 174 Sunday departures in April and May 2025,” the airline wrote in a statement. The new route announcement comes as the airline is undergoing notable changes, as Southwest will introduce its first-ever overnight flights to its network next February. With today’s announcement, the airline shared a few more routes that will see redeye service — flights from Honolulu to Las Vegas and Phoenix, Kona to Las Vegas, and Maui to Las Vegas and Phoenix will be offered as red-eyes starting April 8, 2025.

JetBlue recently unveiled plans for lounges at both Boston Logan International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Fall travelers can rejoice with new discounts on airfare. Frontier Airlines recently announced a fall vacation sale, with one-way fares as low as $19 to popular destinations including Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando, and more.  Dallas has the highest number of deals in the sale, including flights to/from the city to Detroit, San Jose, Houston, Jacksonville, Miami, Portland, and more. Other popular markets in the sale include flights to Orlando from New Orleans, San Antonio, and Syracuse.  The sale also includes discounts to several international destinations that Frontier flies to, such as one-way service between Atlanta and Cancun from $85, and Denver to Puerto Vallarta from $99.  The lowest discounts at $19 are exclusively for members of Frontier's paid membership program, Discount Den. The program has an annual fee of $99 for the first year, and $59 for subsequent years, and provides access to lower cost fares as well as benefits including free flights for children.  The sale ends on September 23, 2024 at 11:59 p.m., and is valid on travel for select days through November 20, 2024. There are several restricted dates in the sale, such as discounted travel to Las Vegas is only available on Sunday through Wednesday. The sale is currently available on Frontier's site.
