Paul Gauguin Cruises, the luxury cruise line specializing in French Polynesia and the South Pacific, is launching three new itineraries as part of its Boutique Crossing Collection for 2025, focusing on transits between Fiji, Bali, Singapore and Australia.
The Crossing Oceania cruise is a 20-night itinerary departing on January 19, 2025. It sails from Lautoka in Fiji to Benoa in Bali and visits Espiritu Santo Island in Vanuatu, Guadalcanal Island, Alotau and Samarai Island in Papua New Guinea, Dili in Timor-Leste and the UNESCO-designated Komodo National Park in Indonesia.
The Indonesia Immersive itinerary takes travelers on a 14-night itinerary from Singapore to Darwin, Australia beginning April 1, 2025. The trip visits several destinations in Indonesia, including Semarang, Surabaya, Parai Beach, Loh Liang in Komodo National Park, Benoa in Bali and Dili in Timor-Leste.
The cruise takes travelers to two maiden ports for the cruise line: Parai Beach, known for its snorkeling along coral reefs; and Surabaya, known for its historic Arab Quarter and cultural offerings.
The final new itinerary is Crossing Melanesia, a 16-night itinerary departing from Darwin, Australia on April 15, 2025. It will visit Thursday Island in Australia, Alotau and Samarai Island in Papua New Guinea, Honiara in the Solomon Islands, Espiritu Santo Island and Efate in Vanuatu, and Lautoka in Fiji.
Each of these itineraries offer overnight visits in select destinations. All-inclusive fares begin at $6,210 per guest.
“With our 2025 Boutique Crossing Collection, we are excited to continue to take our unique brand of personalized and authentic discovery beyond our home shores in French Polynesia and into other exotic isles deep within the South Pacific,” said Susan Robison, General Manager, Sales and Marketing for Paul Gauguin Cruises.
“Aboard The Gauguin for these longer voyages, savvy travelers will appreciate the days at sea enjoying the ship’s relaxed luxury ambiance, exceptional dining, genuine hospitality, and the camaraderie of fellow guests,” Robison continued. “Ashore, they will be rewarded with intimate, small-group experiences in some of the most remote and fascinating places on Earth.”

I have quite dry skin and eyes, so I need all the moisture possible. I use a Neostrata Matrix Support day cream and Intensive Eye Therapy; then when I shower, I use Dermafix DermaPolish + Activated Charcoal. I feel like I have great skin now, but it’s been a journey to maintain it. Dr. Fatima Bhabha, my doctor in Johannesburg who specializes in aesthetic medicine, really got me thinking that I need to follow a routine and use sunscreen. I use this Italian brand, BioNike Defence Sun 30 Mineral Cream. On my body, I use Nivea Men All Seasons Moisture Body Cream, and because I have such dry skin I always use aloe vera to moisturize. My grandmother always had the plants outside and would slather me with aloe.
While more and more cruise ships are beginning to feel like floating theme parks courtesy an abundance of onboard thrills, no one has mastered this realm quite like Disney. Now, on the heels of Disney Wish, which launched last year, Disney Treasure will set sail in December 2024 with seven-night Caribbean voyages from Port Canaveral. “We were inspired by Walt Disney's love of traveling all around the world and his spirit of adventure,” said Pam Rawlins, an executive producer at Walt Disney Imagineering, at a much-anticipated ship reveal held onboard the Disney Wish last week while it was docked in Florida. “We are taking you to real-world beautiful places, but also fantastical stories that we bring to life on the Disney Treasure.”
