Quendoo launches in the UK, offering the hospitality sector innovative software that maximizes direct bookings and revenue while reducing reliance on third-party agencies.
LONDON, UK – Quendoo, a provider of optimisation software to the hospitality sector in Europe, is launching in the UK, bringing new opportunities to access, optimise and monetise bookings for hoteliers, tour operators and travel agents.
Quendoo brings accessible cutting-edge technology to travel businesses, enabling them to take back control of their own bookings, reduce dependence on third parties and retain revenue. Its systems are already saving European clients millions of euros, enabling reinvestment and growth.
Their offer includes a suite of cloud-based tools, built in-house and integrated with third-parties such as Google Hotels, Opera PMS (Oracle) and Clock PMS+. Tools include a booking engine and channel manager, alongside other integrated systems.
For hoteliers of all sizes, these tools enable direct guest access to live availability and instant synchronisation for their marketing channels, offering opportunities to upsell, improve the guest journey and, ultimately, increase revenue.
Co-founder of Quendoo, Christophe Gater, said: “All hotels use software to manage prices and availability, but many lack real-time connectivity to distributors, marketing channels and payment systems; this restricts their profit and growth. Quendoo offers hoteliers the opportunity to access and profit from real-time bookings, maximising the value of each booking and retaining the customer relationship.
“It’s surprising how many UK hotels still don’t have a booking facility on their website, instead relying on OTAs. This leaves too many industry professionals handing over profits and manually logging bookings. Our optimisation tools enable hoteliers to take back control of their bookings, reduce risk and retain revenue.”
Established providers offer services that are subscription-based and costly to set up; travel businesses may prefer the option of a commission-based model. Quendoo offers no set-up fees or subscriptions. Charges for the booking engine are just 1.95% per booking and onboarding is simple and fast, with friendly and engaged customer service.
For tour operators seeking in-season access, Quendoo B2B provides a marketplace where hotels can publicise specific rates to tour operators and travel agents, who can subsequently make bookings or display live B2B prices on their own channels, in real-time API integration. For example, Quendoo is now the leading provider of real-time prices and availability in Bulgaria, a market to which more than 600,000 Britons travel annually.
