It’s the Reese’s Book Club’s only stop in Canada. Designed to encourage guests to immerse themselves in vibrant narratives and diverse cultures from across the globe, Gatherings by Sheraton offers weekly experiences, ensuring both travelers and locals find inspiration within the pages of compelling stories. This unique initiative, serving as Reese's Book Club's sole stop in Canada, adds a touch of literary magic to a visit to the Sheraton.
The Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library is at the heart of this program and debuted in October of 2023 at Sheraton Grand Los Angeles, bringing hundreds of guests and locals together though a shared love of reading. Guests and locals can discover the full back catalog of Reese's Book Club picks, as well as discover new genres and local book selections, either by cozying up inside the Lobby Library or purchasing a copy to take home.
Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is the only Canadian stop on the Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library tour and serves as a standout opportunity to highlight the hotel’s recently completed renovation. The downtown Toronto hotel was among the first of Sheraton’s properties to unveil the new branded refresh, which includes completely reimagined common spaces, new food and beverage outlets, meeting spaces and more.
“Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel has over 50 years' worth of stories and of being a gathering place for travelers and locals,” said Tim Reardon, Area General Manager. “We’re thrilled to be part of this collaboration with Reese’s Book Club, the Internet’s biggest book club, and bring our communities together through a shared love of reading.”
Throughout the duration of the Lobby Library pop up, the hotel will encourage guests and locals to gather, read and discover. The official program starts on January 12, with a Popcorn & Pages event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On January 23, the Lobby Library will also host the program’s signature “Beyond the Page” speaker series, with Reese’s Book Club author, New York Times best-selling author, and Toronto native, Marissa Stapley. A guided Book of the Month Discussion event will take place on January 31.
