When they debut in 2025, Riviera River Cruises’ two newest ships will sail the Danube and Douro rivers in Europe.
Riviera Radiance will offer six itineraries on the Danube, including three holiday sailings and an itinerary designed exclusively for solo travelers, the company shared today. Riviera Rose, meanwhile, will sail one itinerary on the Douro River.
“On the Danube, Riviera Radiance will sail our classic and holiday itineraries through Hungary, Slovakia and Austria, as well as a longer itinerary to the Black Sea and back,” says Marilyn Conroy, Riviera River Cruises’ executive vice president of sales and marketing for North America.
“And on the Douro in Portugal and Spain, Riviera Rose will sail one of our newest itineraries. We look forward to hosting you on these beautiful ships and waterways," Conroy continued.
The Danube itineraries offered onboard the 443-foot Riviera Radiance will range from six to 15 days long. Travelers will have an opportunity to visit iconic European cities on the Danube like Budapest, Vienna, Linz and Bratislava. The vessel has 89 cabins and can accommodate up to 178 passengers.
On the Douro River, Riviera Rose will sail the 8-day “Highlights of the Douro Valley & Salamanca” itinerary round trip from Porto. The 262-foot Riviera Rose is the smaller of the two new ships, with just 57 cabins that can accommodate up to 114 passengers.
