Saving on flights to South America just got easier with deals from American Airlines to some of the most popular destinations across the continent.
“Experience the most amazing South America destinations while enjoying premier services offered by American Airlines with our flights to Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, and more,” the airline shared about the sale on its website.
These discounted fares have been posted directly to American’s website and are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no specified end date. The sale offers widespread availability between September and December of this year, spanning between spring and early summer. which are considered some of the best times to visit many of these South American destinations.

American Airlines AAdvantage members can also save their cash and choose to redeem miles for these same flights. For instance, the same round-trip flight between New York and Buenos Aires can be booked for just 50,000 AAdvantage miles and roughly $100 in taxes and fees. Furthermore, the airline is selling AAdvantage miles at up to a 35 percent discount for travelers who need to top up their accounts for redemptions.
While these sale fares are only available in economy, passengers looking for a bit more comfort can potentially upgrade their tickets online to business or first class. The airline recently made a major policy change, allowing paid upgrades to accrue Loyalty Points to qualify for elite status and AAdvantage miles, making these buy-up offers even more compelling than ever before.

Norse Atlantic Airways, a discount European airline, recently revealed dozens of flight deals on flights from the United States to Europe throughout the rest of 2024 and early 2025 as part of a September Sale. Travelers can purchase the fare sale tickets between today and September 12, however the tickets are sold in limited quantities, which means the sale could end sooner.
