Six Flags Entertainment Corporation announced the launch of the 30th season of Six Flags Fright Fest, which features immersive experiences, spooky mazes, live shows, themed food and beverage offerings and trick-or-treating.
To celebrate the Six Flags Fright Fest, the theme park company debuted all-new haunted houses inspired by iconic horror movies, including The Conjuring (Six Flags Magic Mountain and Six Flags Great Adventure) and SAW X (Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Over Georgia).
In addition, fifteen Six Flags parks in the U.S., Canada and Mexico will celebrate Fright Fest.

“Six Flags Fright Fest is an important part of our passion to thrill guests and exceed their expectations,” Chief Marketing Officer Edithann Ramey said. “The Fright Fest events taking place at Six Flags parks across North America are scarier than ever, but we’ve also included activities for the little ones at our daytime Boo Fest event.”
“What’s also great, is that it’s incredibly affordable to visit during Fright Fest because the event is included at most parks for season pass holders,” Ramey continued.
Fright Fest boasts themed haunts and entertainment, including Vault 666 Unlocked, Sewer of Souls, Aftermath, Twisted Fairytales 3D, Necropolis, Hell Block 6 and The Uprising Parade: Nightly Call of the Dead.

It's that time of year again. No, not the time when houses are fully decorated for Halloween, though holiday decorations are slowly making their way onto shelves. But it's also the time of year when Disney raises its prices. In fact, it was exactly one year ago today that Disney announced a slew of increases across multiple categories.

I'm a theme-park journalist who's been covering happenings everywhere from California's Disneyland to Missouri's Silver Dollar City for over a decade, but for several years there was one event that was a hard "no" for me: Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando.
Whether you are headed to Universal Orlando Resort in Central Florida or Universal Studios Hollywood in Southern California, a few things are certain: One, you will be transported to exciting lands based on some of your favorite movies, TV shows and video games. Two, you will create lifelong memories. Three, the costs for theme park tickets, a hotel stay, restaurants and souvenirs are going to add up quickly.

For some people, Halloween means Pumpkin Spice Lattes, adorable trick-or-treaters and home-decorating tips from Martha Stewart. But for millions of horror fans, the season is all about jump scares, blood-thirsty ghouls and chainsaw-wielding clowns.
When talking about Osaka, it’s nearly impossible not to mention the culinary culture that’s made the city a destination for food lovers. But to focus solely on Osaka’s famous okonomiyaki (savoury pancakes) and takoyaki (battered octopus balls) would do a great disservice to Japan’s third-largest city. It may be a sprawling metropolis but Osaka has the feel of an easygoing European coastal city, with a sense of openness and a slower pace than its big brother, Tokyo. First-time visitors tend to make a beeline for Osaka Castle, browse the food stalls on a walk through Kuromon Ichiba Market and later venture out to Universal Studios on the edge of the city. But another great way to get a true taste of Osaka is to dive into its diverse neighbourhoods.
