Southwest Airlines is celebrating its 53rd birthday this week by offering flights as low as $53 one-way.
Customers can take advantage now through Thursday, June 20 for continental U.S. travel between August 6 and December 18, 2024, and Hawaii, international and San Juan, Puerto Rico travel between August 20 and November 20, 2024.
One-way flights as low as $53 include nonstop between Atlanta and Tampa; nonstop between Austin and Dallas (Love Field); nonstop between Chicago (Midway) and Minneapolis/St. Paul; nonstop between Las Vegas and San Diego and nonstop between Los Angeles (LAX) and Phoenix, among other routes.
Travelers will typically find the lowest fares on flights between Southwest's operating bases in cities like Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago (Midway), Dallas (Love Field), Denver, Houston (Hobby), Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Nashville, Oakland, Orlando and Phoenix.
