Ambassador Cruise Line is expanding into North America.
The United Kingdom-based line has opened a dedicated office in the United States and has launched a toll-free phone number (1-800-537-1499) to serve North American travelers.
The company, which began cruising in April 2022, offers departures from London and seven regional ports in the U.K., including Edinburgh Leith, Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol and Falmouth. It has two ships: the 1,400-guest Ambience and the 1,200-guest Ambition. Ambassador Cruise Line primarily caters to over-50 travelers but offers multi-generational voyages in the summer.
“We pride ourselves on offering our guests an authentic sailing experience that goes above and beyond their expectations, and we are absolutely delighted to bring our signature brand of affordable quality cruises to even more guests,” says Christian Verhounig, chief executive officer of Ambassador Cruise Line. “Having a dedicated team to support our North American operations underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional service and memorable voyages. With 94 percent of all those who sail with us saying that they would recommend us to their friends and family, we are very much looking forward to offering guests from North America the ‘warmest welcome at sea’ in the months and years to come.”
The company’s sailings are commissionable to travel advisors. In addition to the toll-free line, advisors and travelers can also connect with the Ambassador Cruise Line team via email at [email protected].
