Billed as the issuer's "best travel rewards card to date," Wells Fargo is launching a mid-tier travel rewards credit card this month.
The new Wells Fargo Autograph Journey card will come with a handful of valuable transfer partners and earnings rates. It will be available from March 9, the company has announced in a press release.
We first received word of this new card, as well as the introduction of transfer partners for Wells Fargo cardholders, in December 2023. Now we have more details of the official launch date, initial welcome bonus and the perks the Autograph Journey card will offer.
Here's an overview of the card and how to apply.
The Wells Fargo Autograph Journey will be available in select Wells Fargo branches throughout the country beginning March 9 and online and in-branch nationwide from March 20.
The card figures to be a higher-tier version of the existing Wells Fargo Autograph℠ Card (see rates and fees), which launched in 2022. This Visa card will have a $95 annual fee, partially offset by a $50 annual statement credit for airfare purchases.
The Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ Visa® Card will launch with a welcome offer of 60,000 bonus rewards points after spending $4,000 in the first three months. Cardholders will earn an unlimited 5 points per dollar on hotels, 4 points per dollar on airlines, 3 points per dollar on other travel and dining and 1 point per dollar on other purchases.
The information for the Wells Fargo Autograph Journey Visa Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
That's a reasonable welcome bonus with solid earnings rates for a mid-tier travel card, though it remains to be seen how valuable these Wells Fargo rewards points are and will become.
The good news is that the card comes alongside the launch of Wells Fargo transfer partners, which it's billing as "Points Transfer." When the program launches on April 4, you'll be able to transfer your points to five airline programs:
You'll also be able to transfer to one hotel program:
The issuer says that more transfer partners will continue to be added throughout this year.
Lastly, Autograph Journey cardholders have access to a new entertainment benefit called "Autograph Card Exclusives," offering access to concerts that showcase big-name artists in small venues. The card will offer cellphone protection, too (requires a $25 deductible per claim).
The new benefits on the Autograph Journey are all a welcome step up from the bare-bones nature of the no-annual-fee Autograph. Once we at TPG get our hands on this card, we'll provide readers with more details about who it might be best for and whether it's worth adding to your

Followers may be more familiar with her alter ego, Accidental Icon, but Lyn Slater’s credentials go far beyond being fashionable. The former professor and social worker has spent the past decade using the moniker to turn our perception of style and aging on its head. Scroll through her Instagram feed or blog, and you'll find Slater decked out in designer duds, interspersed with fashion campaigns for Hermés and Dior, and sponsored posts for luxury brands like Net-a-Porter, Kate Spade, and Moncler. Slater speaks of this life stage with gratitude for the opportunities it's provided—like access to a wealth of influential people in the fashion industry and travel experiences in new destinations—but always from a place of removal. The Accidental Icon is not her, says Slater. It's a persona. Now in her 70s, Slater says she has closed her chapter as an influencer and is embracing a new one. One where she is still undeniably fabulous and no-less influential, but has traded in her New York city apartment for a home upstate (where she is writing a monthly column for her local paper), her signature red lipstick and large statement earrings for a subtler wardrobe, and the title of “influencer” for “writer” and “grandmother.”
When it comes to our body’s health, there are a few things we take as given facts. We know, for example, that broccoli is good for our gut microbiome and working out can help our heart. But we often overlook the benefits of sex on our overall health. Did you know that sex can support your immune system, improve sleep, build trust and reduce stress? Or that yoga and meditation can enhance arousal and desire?
