The New York Yankees opening day is Thursday, March 28. And to accompany the first 2024 season game against the Houston Astros, beloved and brand new food and beverages from local chefs and restaurants. Here’s what to eat at Yankee Stadium this baseball season.
Along with local wines and the beloved burrata burger, City Winery’s newest creation is going to be seeing long lines in section 105. The porchetta sandwich is made with juicy porchetta, broccoli rabe, provolone, Calabrian aioli and arugula, all on a brioche bun, to chase down with your favorite rosé.
The Bronx-born Chef represents his borough at stands in sections 125 and 310. Adding to last year’s cheesy garlic bread (seeded Bronx bastone, mozzarella, Pecorino Romano and Parmesan Reggiano, Sicilian oregano, served with an 8-hour marinara) the stand will also offer garlic bread with meatballs and 8-hour marinara.

This year, the stand in section 213 will offer a new menu item: A Sweet + Spicy Sando with Fuku’s signature crispy habanero-brined chicken breast, sweet + spicy glaze, pickle on a potato roll. Fan favorites tenders with jalapeño waffle fries and a side of honey mustard or ranch and the O.G. Spicy Chicken Sando are also on the menu.
This local New York barbecue joint is a Yankee Stadium must for many. 2024 brings a new Chipotle BBQ chicken sandwich with hand-pulled, slow-smoked chicken glazed with house-made Chipotle BBQ Sauce, served with an assortment of pickled veggies and slaw. Head to Section 132 to also load up on chicken wings and the signature burnt ends sandwich.
Over the top tater tots are having a moment, and that moment continues in section 134. New loaded tater tots are coated in Lobel’s seasoning, BBQ beef filet tips, cheddar cheese and crispy onions. It will soon be easier and cheaper to fly from Las Vegas to London. Norse Atlantic Airways is launching a new route from London’s Gatwick Airport to Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport, the airline shared with Travel + Leisure on Thursday. The service will begin on Sept. 12, and operate three times per week. In a nod to the luck that visitors aim to have when visiting Las Vegas, the flight will operate with Norse’s lucky number seven as flight ‘Z0777’. The 9-hour and 50-minute direct route will depart Las Vegas at 4:45pm, and arrive in London Gatwick at 10:35am the following day, local time. The flight will operate on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. “We are excited to introduce this new route from London Gatwick to Las Vegas, a unique city that offers unparalleled diversity, boasting an abundance of entertainment, dining, and recreational options to suit every taste,” Norse Atlantic Airways CEO and Founder Bjorn Tore Larsen said in a statement.
