United will be the only US airline to offer nonstop service between Newark and Marrakech.
This fall, Marrakech’s iconic Medina and its latest wave of stylish places to stay will be more accessible than ever to US travelers. On October 24, United Airlines will launch a nonstop route to the Moroccan city from Newark’s Liberty International airport. The service will operate three times per week on the carrier’s Boeing 767-300ER planes. Once on board, passengers can expect to see regular and premium economy cabins, as well as United’s beloved Polaris business class cabin. United will be the only US airline to offer nonstop service between Newark and Marrakech, its fifth destination in Africa.
Just in time for summer Down Under, American Airlines will launch a new nonstop flight to Brisbane, Australia, on October 26. The new route will be the first-ever service between Dallas and Brisbane, which is the capital of Queensland—the Australian state known for the Great Barrier Reef and the glowing beaches of the Gold Coast. Clocking in at more than 8,000 miles, the new flight will become the carrier’s longest route in its network. The seasonal route will operate daily on the airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. Eventually, American will phase in its new Boeing 787-9P Dreamliners, which will sport the airline’s eagerly awaited Flagship Suite business class seats. (However, those planes have been indefinitely postponed due to production delays at Boeing.)
