Fiji Airways is making dream vacations to the idyllic island nation of Fiji more affordable this summer with its latest flash sale. Travelers can now book roundtrip flights from the United States to this South Pacific gem for as low as $709.
This special promotion must be booked by July 4 and is applicable for travel from August 1, 2023, through June 9, 2025. However, there are blackout dates for outbound travel from December 12 to December 31, and for inbound travel from August 1 to August 6 and December 25 to January 17, 2025.
For example, passengers can fly from Los Angeles or San Francisco to Fiji starting at $709 with Fiji Airways' Lite fares. These fares include such onboard amenities as a meal or snack, and a carry-on bag at no charge.
“This opportunity opens the door for more travelers to experience the unparalleled beauty and culture of our islands,” Brent Hill, the CEO of Tourism Fiji, told Travel + Leisure. “With easier access and more affordable travel options, we are eager to welcome new visitors and show them why Fiji is a world-class destination, offering pristine beaches, vibrant marine life, and the warm hospitality of our people.”
Fiji Airways, recently recognized as one of the best airlines globally, operates from several major U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Honolulu. Additionally, the airline offers direct flights from Vancouver, Canada.
In an exciting development for frequent flyers, Fiji Airways, which is already connected to the Oneworld Alliance via American Airlines, will soon join American’s AAdvantage loyalty program. This integration allows American Airlines' loyal customers to enjoy the same benefits when flying with Fiji Airways. The South Pacific carrier is set to become a fully-fledged member of the Oneworld Alliance next year.
And, making things even easier for avid travelers, Fiji Airways was also added to the Transportation Security Administration’s TSA PreCheck program last year, enabling eligible passengers to use expedited security lanes when flying with the airline.
