I hesitate to share this information because I think my friend and I would be perfect for the job but GetYourGuide, in partnership with On Location Tours, is kicking off a search for a couple of Swifties to lead Taylor Swift-themed tours in two major cities.
The Ultimate Swiftie Tour Guides will receive compensation and training with professional tour guides in New York City or London as well as complimentary tickets for their friends and family members to join them on the tours they lead.
“We’re hoping to not only appoint the best tour guide for Swifties in New York, but also create an experience you won’t find anywhere else,” Madison Pietrowski, Director of Brand US at GetYourGuide, told Forbes exclusively. “Swifties will never forget when Taylor Swift moved to the Big Apple in 2014. Since then, the city has acquired a Taylor-inspired allure, which only a true fan can help uncover.”
Offhand, we’re thinking a tour could stop by Cornelia Street, the Chelsea Hotel, Coney Island, the High Line, the dive bar on the East Side (where you at?), Housing Works Bookstore and, on a Tuesday night, maybe dinner and a glass of wine at Olive Garden.
In addition to the city celebrated in Swift’s “Welcome to New York,” fans can also apply to be a tour guide in the English capital she sings about in songs like “London Boy” and “So Long, London.”
To apply, post a video on Instagram or TikTok, explaining why you should be the Ultimate Swiftie Tour Guide and tagging @GetYourGuide and #UltimateSwiftieGuide. Applicants who make it to the second round will be notified by DM and invited to go through a formal application and interview process. For more information, check out the GetYourGuide website or follow them on Instagram and TikTok for updates.
GetYourGuide is all about offering unique travel experiences – I’ve done many tours around the world through them, including a once in a lifetime opportunity to open the doors of the Vatican in the morning – and this one promises to be the answer to Swifties’ wildest dreams.
The popular travel booking platform decided to create the positions after a brand survey revealed that 44% of travelers globally choose a destination based on their passions and interests and that 22% of Americans have chosen a destination based on a celebrity or influencer recommendation.
It’s hard to imagine a bigger influence on, well, almost anything at the moment than Taylor Swift. Not only was she named Time magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year but she continues to break records with her Eras tour and her new, two album set, The Tortured Poets Department.

You don't have to be a die-hard Taylor Swift fan for the (record-breaking!) Eras Tour to be on your radar. Each weekend, she lights up the stage—there in her glittering prime, the lights refracting sequined stars off her silhouette every night—during over three hours of sparkly Broadwayesque performances, rolling into cities all over the globe from New York to Tokyo to Melbourne to Madrid. Finally, this summer, London gets its own taste of the Taylor Swift show. The Eras Tour has sold out eight dates at Wembley between June and August, equating to nearly one million Swifties descending on the city.

JetBlue will launch service at an airport in New York’s Long Island for the first time, expanding its presence in the state.
A Taylor Swift fan from Northern Ireland said she and her fellow Swifties were prevented from attending the Eras Tour after a bird flew into their plane.
Customary travel wisdom says spending a few hours in a city’s airport doesn’t “count” as experiencing the place itself. That’s because American airports today are often viewed as transitory hubs removed from space and time—like a mall or suburban highway strip—visit one and you could be anywhere in the US.
Delta Air Lines is about to make flying cross-country more comfortable by introducing its Premium Select cabin for the first time on flights between New York and Los Angeles.
Committed to the preservation of marine resources since 2009 alongside Ethic Ocean, the Relais & Châteaux Association has once again joined forces with the NGO by launching a new awareness campaign. The objective? To remove all overexploited species of seafood from Relais & Châteaux menus, starting with eel, and to prioritize sustainable species.

Falling as it does in mid-June, Father’s Day coincides with an upswing in outdoor excursions. Whether your dad is into backpacking, fishing or forest bathing, he could probably use a few upgrades for his campfire cooking. Replace his worn-out plastic cooler with one from Oyster, a Norwegian company that launched its gleaming aluminum, vacuum-insulated version last year. The Japanese gear maker Snow Peak has a titanium cup and pot set with thoughtful details: The two items nestle together to save space in a backpack, and the pot’s lid has a silicone tab that won’t get hot, eliminating the need for an oven mitt. (Every ounce counts when you’re carrying your kitchen up a mountain.) To ease his mind around meal planning, gift him a few vegan camp meals from Poe & Co. Folk Foods, founded last year by the California-based chef couple Jamie and Jayson Poe. (She cooked at New York’s Gramercy Tavern, he at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara.) Their offerings include a black garlic ramen bowl and coconut chickpea stew — all you have to do is pour in a bit of boiling water.
Pisa attracts more than five million tourists yearly to see its world-famous Leaning Tower. But few realize this proverbial “half-day city” is the gateway to Terre di Pisa, one of Italy's newest and most exciting DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) wine appellations.
