Low-cost airline Breeze Airways will launch four new Florida routes this winter.
The airline will soon offer service to Orlando from Mississippi, New York, and Utah, and to Tampa from Pennsylvania, Breeze shared with Travel + Leisure. The new routes will take off in December, January, and February.
“We’re connecting the dots between some of our existing cities with these exciting new routes, all of them previously unserved,” David Neeleman, the founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, said in a statement shared with T+L. “These nonstop flights give our Guests the ability to travel comfortably and affordably to great destinations in Florida – especially during the cold winter months.”
To start, Breeze will launch flights between Provo Airport (PVU), outside of Salt Lake City, and Orlando International Airport (MCO) on Dec. 21. Those flights will operate three days each week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Then on Jan. 8, 2025, the airline will launch flights between Erie International Airport (ERI) in Pennsylvania and Tampa International Airport (TPA). These flights will be seasonal for winter and spring and operate two days each week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
On Feb. 6, 2025, the carrier will start flying between Mississippi’s Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport (GPT) and Orlando on Thursdays and Sundays; and on Feb. 13, Breeze will connect Ogdensburg International Airport (OGS) in upstate New York near the Canadian border with Orlando with seasonal winter and spring flights on Thursdays and Sundays.
To celebrate the new routes, one-way flights start as low as $49.
Breeze, which was first created in 2021 by former JetBlue founder Neeleman, now flies to 66 cities across 30 states. The airline has committed to using an all-Airbus A220 fleet for its scheduled service by the end of 2024 and next hopes to add international destinations in the near future.
Currently, Breeze is offering a fall flight sale with one-way trips starting as low as $30. To take advantage, travelers must book by 11:59 p.m. PT on Oct. 3 and fly between Oct. 3 and Nov. 15.
