The ultra-luxurious Park Hyatt New York is set to undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation targeting its suites and salon.
The property on Manhattan's "Billionaire's Row" of opulent condo towers will introduce a 3,500-square-foot Manhattan Suite as part of the glow-up. The new, sprawling suite will sit atop the 25-story hotel and feature a living area, a butler's kitchen and a private office. If guests desire, they have the option to connect the suite with two adjoining guest rooms that have balconies overlooking Central Park, creating a three-bedroom megasuite.
The Park Hyatt New York will also unveil renovated specialty suites — leaning into "understated elegance with vibrant city energy" — by January. All suites with outdoor terraces will now have fireplaces as well.
As part of the renovation, the hotel's Rossano Ferretti Hairspa has relocated to the eighth floor of the Park Hyatt. Additionally, the Park Hyatt New York's Spa Nalai will reopen closer to the hotel's indoor saltwater swimming pool this fall.

More than 40 properties have opened across the five boroughs since 2022, during apost-Covid rebirth that’sbrought freshenergy to long-overlooked pockets of Manhattan as well as to its most well-trodden quarters. Among these new arrivals are the Hotel Chelsea, a long-awaited revival of the venerable art-crowd hangout, and Nine Orchard, an elegant makeover of a 1912 bank building on the Lower East Side. At least two more luxury hotels are planning to welcome guests next month: the Surrey, an Upper East Side landmark entirely remade by the Malta-based Corinthia Hotels group, and the Manner, an upscale sibling of the Standard hotels, in SoHo. Here, a closer look at five other attention-worthy newcomers:
