Royal Caribbean has unveiled new details about dining aboard Utopia of the Seas, its new vessel slated to debut in July.
The 5,668-guest vessel, which is under construction at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, will offer many familiar Royal Caribbean staples—like The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar and Chops Grille—plus a few new eateries.
Several dining concepts will be making their debut aboard the ship, including Royal Railway – Utopia Station, a high-tech, immersive experience.
Royal Caribbean guests will start with pre-dinner drinks on a railway platform. Then, at the sound of a train whistle, they’ll clamber aboard the train’s dining car for dinner. As they dine, they’ll be transported to “any place and time, from America’s Wild West to far-off destinations across the globe, all without leaving the ship,” according to the cruise line.
Other new spots on Utopia of the Seas include The Spare Tire, a poolside food truck offering pulled pork sandwiches, cheeseburger flatbread, daily rotating desserts and other quick bites, and Izumi in the Park, a new pickup window in Central Park offering sushi, Japanese-inspired street food and sweets.
Izumi, an existing Royal Caribbean restaurant, is being reimagined for Utopia, with a new multi-course omakase-inspired private dining experience paired with sake cocktails, al fresco dining and more.

My family of three loves cruising, and we try going on one Royal Caribbean cruise each summer.
A distinct sense of place is one of the factors that separates a good hotel from a great one.
Desron ‘Lava Man’ Rodriguez is a person of few words, but those he does utter can stop you in your tracks — for this mild-mannered, softly spoken Vincentian can detail what it’s like to climb an erupting volcano. “I didn’t want anyone else telling me how it was up there,” he answers to the inevitable question: why? “I had to witness it with my own eyes.”
Royal Caribbean and Virgin Voyages offer completely different experiences. And I've cruised with both.
If you've been jealous of all the cruisers sailing on Royal Caribbean's new, wildly popular Icon of the Seas ship, you're not alone.
Memphis. Atlanta. Birmingham. There are certain American cities that are known for Black history. But African American history and culture can, of course, be found across the United States, in seemingly unlikely cities, like Portland, Maine, say, or Providence, R.I.
What do you get when you cross a Las Vegas pool club with a cruise ship and a private island? You get Royal Caribbean's new Hideaway Beach.
Royal Caribbean International said it has ordered a "lucky seventh" Oasis-class ship to be delivered in 2028, said CEO Michael Bayley.

Even as more airlines have invested in expanding their network of lounges in recent years, the spaces have increasingly felt crowded, especially as more travelers gain entry through memberships, elite status, or as a benefit of their credit cards.
