Last week, Southwest Airlines announced a Spring Break sale, available for a limited time. On top of that, the airline is also offering a promotional Companion Pass® that is valid through February 2025. Travelers can add another flight sale to their radar, with Southwest offering flights as low as $49.
The major airline is offering a spring sale, with sale fares available to be booked beginning on February 13 through February 22, 2024 (at 11:59 p.m. PST). Travelers can find deals as low as $49 per one-way flight in the Wanna Get Away class or flights as low as $59 per one-way in the Wanna Get Away Plus class. (There are four classes on Southwest flights—Wanna Get Away, Wanna Get Away Plus, Anytime, and Business Select.)
Those extra $10 in the Wanna Get Away Plus class allow travelers a transferable flight credit and a same-day change (if needed). Rapid Rewards Members can also earn 8x Rapid Rewards points on their travel.
Note that a 21-day advance purchase is required, and fares are nonrefundable. Additionally, blackout dates apply, and sale fares are not available in all markets that Southwest serves. Prices don’t include government taxes and fees. However, those fees are usually $5.60 per one-way flight (and not hundreds of dollars like they are on other airlines).
Since seats are limited, booking as soon as possible is essential to get the best deal.
Southwest Airlines continues to offer fare deals, this time as low as $49 per one-way flight. However, blackout dates and restrictions apply, and this deal is only available for a limited time. Southwest is also offering a limited-time promotional Companion Pass® with its three consumer credit cards that can help save money for two people traveling together.
