British Airways is putting epic vacations on sale this fall with flights starting at less than $500 roundtrip.
The end of summer sale, which must be booked by 11:59 p.m. EST on Sept. 17, is available for travel from any of the airline’s 26 destinations in the United States, British Airways shared with Travel + Leisure.
“As summer comes to a close, it's the perfect moment to start dreaming about your next adventure,” Colm Lacy, the chief commercial officer at British Airways, said in a statement shared with T+L. “British Airways' sale offers great deals on flights to destinations in the UK, Europe, Dubai, and India, along with significant discounts on vacation packages. Go ahead, treat yourself to that well-deserved break and book your dream trip today.”
Fly roundtrip from San Francisco or Los Angeles to London starting at just $585, or fly roundtrip to the British city from New York starting at just $589. Travelers hoping for a bit more comfort can book a ticket in World Traveller Plus — the airline’s version of premium economy — starting at just $1,519 roundtrip from New York to London, while travelers who really want to splurge can book Club World (or business class) flights to London starting at just $2,701 roundtrip from New York and starting at just $2,651 roundtrip from Boston.
Business class tickets to London are also on sale from Los Angeles starting at $3,674 roundtrip.
British Airways said the sale also includes flights to Britain and Europe on the carrier’s Oneworld Alliance partners: American Airlines, Iberia, and Finnair. For instance, flights from Boston to Venice on Iberia in February can be found for $528 roundtrip. Or roundtrip to Milan from New York starting at $453 roundtrip on American Airlines.
All quoted sale prices include taxes, fees, and carrier charges for outbound travel from Jan. 9, 2025, to March 28, 2025. However, blackout dates do apply.
In addition, the airline is putting vacation packages on sale, allowing travelers to save up to $600 when they book a flight and hotel. Travel to Scotland from New York, for example, with roundtrip flights and a five night hotel stay starting at just $899 per person.
The promotion on vacation packages is valid for travel before June 30, 2025.

A great flight deal is as easy as a click away. Allegiant Airlines recently published dozens of last minute flight deals with fares under $50 to popular destinations including Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix, and more. The flights have availability throughout September and October, which can be helpful for passengers making last-minute bookings, which can often be very expensive as the flight’s departure date becomes closer. The deals are posted on Allegiant’s website, and listed as limited quantities. For example, travelers can fly from Knoxville to Punta Gorda / Ft. Myers for only $33 one-way, or from Las Vegas to Provo, Utah for $38 one-way. All of the last-minute fares are in Allegiant's «Basic» category of service, which only includes one personal item. Travelers can add on checked bag, or carry-on bag for additional fees. Travel + Leisure spotted additional one-way flights including:
A winter getaway vacation just got cheaper. Delta Air Lines recently unveiled a limited-time deal on award redemptions through their SkyMiles program for flights in January 2025. The deals, as low as 17,000 miles round-trip plus taxes, include flights to popular destinations such as Bahamas, Tulum, Mexico; and Turks and Caicos.

Package holidays are a cornerstone of British travel. They’ve been around for generations but really took flight in the 1960s when air travel to continental Europe and the Mediterranean became much more affordable. For many, Cornwall was replaced by the Costa del Sol.

As the summer travel season winds down, travelers can take advantage of fall travel deals as a jumpstart for their next vacation. Norse Atlantic Airways, a discount European airline, recently revealed dozens of flight deals on flights from the United States to Europe throughout the rest of 2024 and early 2025 as part of a September Sale. The sale extends to several top tourist destinations in Europe including Athens, Berlin, London, and Rome, all for less than $200 one-way. Travelers can purchase the fare sale tickets between today and September 12, however the tickets are sold in limited quantities, which means the sale could end sooner. Best of all, the discounts are available in Norse’s Economy Light cabin, which, as of September 2, will also include a standard carry-on bag. The cabin class previously had a fee for carry-on bags, or required the purchase of a higher class of fare. In addition to Economy Light, Norse offers Economy Classic which includes a meal service and standard checked bag, and Economy Flextra which includes priority boarding and is a refundable fare.
