Summer might (unofficially) be over, but JetBlue has us thinking otherwise with flight deals to warm weather destinations, perfect for shoulder season travel.
The sale, which ends Thursday, has $39 one-way flights from New York City to Fort Lauderdale and $59 one-way flights to Miami and New Orleans. And from Boston, the airline is offering $39 one-way flights to Charlotte and $69 flights to West Palm Beach.
The deal is valid for travel through Nov. 20, Fridays and Sundays excluded.
The sale also includes discounts for flights to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, too. From New York, one-way flights to Cartagena, Colombia, start at $144, while from Boston, one-way flights to Bridgetown, Barbados, start at just $104.
But if you're ready to let summer go and want to see some fall foliage instead, there are deals for you, too. For example, Floridians can find great deals to head to New York State: Fort Lauderdale to Westchester County, New York, and West Palm Beach to Buffalo both start at $49 each way.
Fall is also a great time to visit New York City, as temperatures will have dropped from their summer highs and the largest crowds of tourists have dissipated. From Los Angeles and Las Vegas, one-way flights to the New York City area are as low as $109, while from Seattle and San Diego, they're as low as $119.
JetBlue Vacations, which bundles flights with hotel stays, is also having a sale — with one getaway including round-trip flights from New York to Cancún and a two-night stay at The Fives Downtown Hotel and Residences, Curio Collection by Hilton for $307.
