Having a mountain guide is a great way to explore the best runs a slope has to offer, but imagine if that guide was none other than legendary Olympic gold medalist Shaun White himself.
But thankfully, there's no need to imagine as one lucky group will have the chance to book an entire ski resort and mountain cabin and get some 1-on-1 time with the “Flying Tomato,” thanks to home rental company Vrbo.
The booking, which is available online on a first-come-first-served basis starting on Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. ET, will give that lucky group a 4-day, 3-night stay at The Boulders, a luxury ski-in/ski-out Vrbo cabin, along with exclusive access to Utah’s Eagle Point Resort — and with no one else on the mountain that means no lift lines and no crowded runs.

“Vrbo specializes only in private vacation rentals, so we’re driving, or skiing, home the point with the ultimate private escape,” Melanie Fish, Vrbo’s travel expert, said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure. “This once-in-a-lifetime stay includes a luxury ski-in/ski-out cabin, an entire mountain and ski resort to yourselves, and 1:1 time with none other than the Olympic legend himself, Shaun White.”
Beyond the gorgeous home (which comes complete with a fireplace, a soaking tub, an eight-person bunk room, and a game room), the group will also receive private snowboarding lessons from White along with $5,000 worth of snowboards, gear, and other merch from his company Whitespace. The experience also includes all lift fees and rental equipment, access to the resort’s bar and grill, and other on-site amenities.

Each guest who stays in the home will also receive $100 in OneKeyCash, which is part of the recent launch of the Expedia Group’s One Key loyalty program that unified its brands Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo.
The experience will be available for a group of up to 15 people from Jan. 29, 2024, to Feb. 1, and will only cost $12.60 per night in honor of White’s signature move, the Double McTwist 1260.

“Whether you’re a first timer or a pro, get ready to shred,” White said in an Instagram post on Monday. “You guys, private ski-in-ski-out cabin, resort to yourself, lessons from me, the newest gear — it’s gonna be amazing.”
Beyond the Eagle Point Resort, Utah offers several mountain resorts with top-notch skiing and riding thanks to amazing natural snow, challenging mountain terrain, and easy access to the airport in Salt Lake City.

Royal fans looking to get their own little piece of the monarchy can now not only purchase it, but they can drive it too. A third-generation, 2004 L322 Range Rover once used by Queen Elizabeth is going up for auction in November via Iconic Auctioneers for £50,000 to £60,000 (about $61,000 to $73,000). Far less expensive than you’d pay for a non-royal version of this car, the Queen's vehicle is in supremely good condition and includes its original Epsom Green exterior paint and Sand Hide interior. According to the auction site’s listing, the car also comes with a modified front grill with covert lights, as well as front and rear seat covers.
