Small-ship cruise line Azamara has unveiled on its latest itinerary offering: a 155-night world cruise that visits all seven wonders of the world in a round-the-world journey starting in 2026. The itinerary begins in Miami and concludes in Barcelona, Spain, with over 35 countries sandwiched in the middle.
“We are thrilled to welcome our world cruisers on this journey of a lifetime,” Carol Cabezas, President of Azamara, said in a press release. “Our 2026 World Cruise offers our guests the unique opportunity to uncover a new perspective on a wide variety of cultures and visit all seven wonders of the world, while enjoying some of the most exclusive and specially curated events throughout this exciting itinerary.”
The Azamara Onward world cruise will feature ample time for exploration with 55 late nights and overnight stays, 60 extended destination days, three exclusive world cruise events and 10 AzAmazing events, all of which are designed to foster a deeper connection with each destination.
The highlight of the packed itinerary is gaining access to all seven wonders of the world. Activities will include a visit to the Chichen Itza, the iconic Christ the Redeemer, the Taj Mahal and the “Baby Taj,” Machu Picchu and the city of Cusco (as well as the stunning Palacio del Inca), the Colosseum in Rome, the Great Wall of China, and Petra in Jordan.
Azamara World Cruisers will also have access to a destination concierge to help curate experiences on the ground, pre-cruise dedicated call center specialists, over $22,000 in exclusive amenities, airfare credit, and more. In short—you won’t want for much during your extended time at sea. More information can be found at Azamara.com.

Take a little staircase down from an old tollbooth on one of Leiden’s 88 bridges and hop on to one of the electric tour boats. I loved drifting along the canals of this stunning old Dutch city past townhouses as fine as any in Amsterdam, the botanical gardens, windmills, university buildings and the 17th-century observatory. Except in summer, ducks, swans and local wild swimmers outnumber tourists. You can scout out the best waterside terrace cafes for lunch, daydream about living on one of the many well-kept houseboats with their flower-filled decks, and plan excursions by water further afield; the city canals link up along the waterways for countryside day cruises to Delft, Haarlem or the coast.Maartje
