Travel services operator Alhind Group based in Kerala’s Kozhikode has received the Indian aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)’s initial approval to start an airline. Alhind aims to commence operations of Alhind Air by the end of 2024. 

Hyatt Hotels said Tuesday it planned to buy the brands of Standard International, owner of 21 open hotels across five hospitality brands, including the luxury lifestyle brand The Standard.

Wynn Resorts’ upcoming resort in the UAE has a new president, Max Tappeiner. He joins the Al Marjan Island project from Wynn Las Vegas where he was executive vice president of operations for a year. He replaces Thomas Schoen as chief of the Ras Al Khaimah resort, who joined only in May last year.
