The industry’s most innovative host agency, Avoya Travel, has just unveiled its highly anticipated calendar of events for 2024, offering a blend of in-person gatherings and virtual experiences aimed at empowering Independent Agencies within the Avoya Travel Network (IAs) with enhanced networking opportunities and educational resources.
Avoya Regionals: Avoya Regionals, an events series introduced in 2023, will span across the United States, bringing together Independent Agencies, supplier partners and Avoya staff for two-day immersive events that offer additional opportunities for education, discourse and the forging of new connections.
The sold-out inaugural event in San Diego in 2023 received rave reviews from attendees, who availed themselves of the chance to engage in interactive discussions, gain industry knowledge and build beneficial connections with peers. This year’s gatherings are scheduled in South Florida, April 14-15; Atlanta, August 9-10; and Texas, October 18-19.
Avoya Socials: Seven Avoya Socials are scheduled for this year, with four of those occurring alongside Avoya Regionals, and another three taking place as standalone events. All will provide unique opportunities for IAs to build and strengthen relationship in a fun atmosphere, complete with games, food and drinks. The 2024 Avoya Socials will be held in in Las Vegas, March 24; Dallas, May 28; and Fort Lauderdale, July 17, and all are tied to large industry events.
Avoya Land Forum: The annual Avoya Land Forum, a headline event created to offer IAs who want to further focus their business on selling on land vacations, will convene at Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau, Bahamas from June 24-28. The already sold-out event provides a platform for IAs to explore new products, strengthen supplier relationships and hone their skills in selling land vacations through specialized education.
Million Dollar Showcase: The exclusive Million Dollar Showcase—reserved for top-performing Avoya Network members who’ve generated at least $1 million in sales during the previous year—will return for its second iteration. Held in Florida during the last week of July, this invitation-only event offers top producers unique educational and networking opportunities.
Avoya Conference: This year, Avoya's annual conference sails to Canada for the first time, promising a week of educational sessions, roundtable discussions, one-on-one meetings and various networking opportunities aboard the Norwegian Joy, sailing from Québec City to New York City from September 25-October 2.
