Attention, Marriott Bonvoy fans — you can now place your bets and earn Marriott Bonvoy points. Yes, you can potentially gamble your way to a free hotel stay.
Following the partnership between Marriott and MGM Resorts, BetMGM, a sports-betting operator, announced a collaboration with the hotel chain. Keep reading to find out more about this new (and potentially lucrative) way to earn Bonvoy points.
When using the gaming app, players can earn BetMGM Rewards points, which can then be converted to Marriott points. Players in licensed states (this program is only available in select states) can link their Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM accounts by accessing "Account Details" within their profile and following the prompts under "My Rewards." Then, you can start earning points when you bet through the app or play at the online casino. Once you set up your account and start earning points, you can then redeem your Marriott points for free hotel nights, airfare, gift cards and more.
BetMGM Rewards points can be converted to Marriott Bonvoy points at a 1:1 rate, up to 100,000 points annually.
