SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor Marine Life Theme Park, is offering thrill seekers an electrifying experience this summer. The first-ever Electric Ocean Festival is taking place daily from 6:00pm to 8:00pm until August 25.
The festival will bring to life the One Ocean story that celebrates the connection between humanity and the ocean through a mesmerizing experience featuring a live cast, park characters and puppeteers. Performers in luminous costumes will mimic the grace of marine animals, from the delicate jellyfish to the majestic coral, in a dance of conservation.
Children and adults alike will have the chance to be painted with neon face paint, transforming themselves into glowing marine life. Magnificent installations of giant jellyfish, illuminated with LED lights will enchant the audience with an underwater light show that simulates the deep-sea environment. Large-scale marine props and puppets that are UV reactive will also entertain in addition to water/neon drummers, inflatable LED crowd balls and more.
As the park’s hub, One Ocean highlights the importance of conserving our planet and the ocean that sustains all life. The realm’s stories and experiences aim to inspire guests to become advocates for the One Ocean and the marine life it supports. The festival is in line with SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s focus on combining entertainment and education about marine life in one immersive and unique experience for its guests.
Guests can enjoy extended opening hours at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi from 10:00am to 8:00pm for a limited time throughout the duration of the Electric Ocean festival until August 25.
