Hilton Plans To Dramatically Increase Its Prolific Hotel Portfolio

Hilton, the iconic hotel empire whose first property opened in 1919, has once again been named the most valuable hotel brand in the world, remaining above its pre-pandemic brand value and topping the Brand Finance Hotels 50 ranking with $11.7 billion in brand value. The Brand Finance Global 500 rankings assess the value of brands globally based on their financial strength and brand equity. Hilton’s world-class brand portfolio is comprised of more than 7,215 properties, in 122 countries and territories.

“After another historic year, Hilton is rapidly expanding its footprint across the globe with 15,700 new rooms and a record of 457,300 more in the pipeline,” says Matt Schuyler, chief brand officer, Hilton.According to Schuyler, 2024 will be a year of many firsts, whether brands are making their mark in new areas, such as Motto by Hilton Hong Kong Soho, or planting the Hilton flag in previously untapped markets, with DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Azores. He adds, “As we continue to invest in design, food and beverage, and wellness, these new properties will allow the modern traveler to be an active participant in Hilton's journey to re-imagine the stay experience.”

Atlanta’s largest downtown ground-up development project in 40 years and tallest building on the west side, the 976-room hotel will offer direct access to the Georgia World Congress Center via a pedestrian walkway and is located next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s eight signature food and beverage experiences, including three restaurants and three bars. Signia by Hilton Atlanta will offer more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space, including the largest hotel ballroom in Georgia, an outdoor event deck and an outdoor event lawn.

With views of the Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head in Oahu, just steps from Waikiki Beach, this 38-story property is home to 462 luxurious rooms and suites. The resort will embark on a reinvigorated chapter with a custom design renovation by Bryan O’Sullivan Studio. Scheduled to start in early 2025, the renovation will be phased and will encompass upgrades to public areas, including lobbies, pool areas, spa, fitness center and residence corridors. Wai`olu and In-Yō Café will be reconceptualized, and the destination restaurant will soon be home to an internationally acclaimed restaurateur and chef.
