Alaska Mileage Plan members can get a head start on achieving elite status for next year by taking any Alaska-operated flight this year and registering to earn double elite qualifying miles (EQMs). Register for the promotion online before any flight; the offer is eligible for flights in February. The luckiest are the travelers that book flights through a corporate rate because they will earn triple EQMs.
When staying at any of the more than 30 brands participating in Marriott Bonvoy, like the Edition or W Hotels, travelers can earn 1,000 bonus points for each night they stay as well as double elite-qualifying nights. Inching closer to elite status while racking up more points makes this free promo a no-brainer. Eligible nights between February 13 and April 29 will qualify, but be sure to register before your first stay. The deadline to sign up is April 15. If you max out the promotion, you could theoretically earn 76,000 points and 76 bonus elite night credits.
Visiting a new IHG One Rewards-participating hotel this month? You’re in for a nice bonus. Members can save 15% on points redemptions when staying at a newly opened hotel between now and the end of the month. These include Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya, Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort and Spa in Belize, InterContinental Jaipur Tonk Road in India, and voco Madrid - Retiro, an IHG Hotel in Spain.
