I'm from Rome. Visit these 9 underrated, less-crowded monuments instead of the Colosseum and the Vatican.

Growing up in Rome, I've become accustomed to skirting the hundreds-thick crowds that form outside iconic monuments like the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums — the Eternal City is, after all, one of the most popular cities to visit in the world.

How I Travel: Liza Colón-Zayas Wants to Film ‘The Bear’ in Italy

The second season of TV show The Bear found the characters more siloed on their own journeys outside the kitchen. One learned about hospitality at the real Chicago restaurant Ever, while another flew to Copenhagen to train with the best. Liza Colón-Zayas’ character Tina went to culinary school, but she wouldn’t have minded a more far-flung filming location for her character—and she knows just the place. “Well, the Berzattos are of Italian descent,” she says, referring to the central family of the show. “Pizza school in Italy!”

What I Packed for a Bucket List Trip to Jack's Camp, Botswana

I had painted a vivid picture of the Kalahari Desert in my head long before I ever visited. A sprawl of sun-baked plains as far as the eye could see; bashful little desert creatures, and inky night skies flooded with stars—this was the stuff of my dreams. So, when it came time to visit, I decided to fill my stay at the iconic Jack’s Camp with activities to make the most of it: daily game drives, horseback safaris, and quad bike excursions. My packing list would need to abet my adventures: lightweight relaxed-fit pants for the many flights it would take to get there, a foldable hat for the unyielding sun, a quilted jacket for cool evenings, and a stylish swimsuit for afternoons in Jack’s iconic pool tent. Here are some of my must-pack essentials.

It has been nearly eight years since my three Welsh children have visited my family in the United States. Even though I would have loved to make the eight-hour plane trip with them more often, logistics, the pandemic, and cost have kept us away.

American Just Launched a New Flight to One of Europe’s Coolest Cities

The excitement was palpable earlier this month as the inaugural American Airlines flight from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Copenhagen Airport (CPH) geared to take off. Speeches were made, a balloon arch filled with red-and-white Denmark flags decked the departure gate, and Danish pastries were served to the very loud and upbeat soundtrack of what can only be described as the Danish take on hip-hop.
