NEW YORK – Stefano Squecco will take over as General Manager of the Althoff St. James’s Hotel & Club London, the exclusive boutique hotel in the Mayfair district, succeeding former General Manager Francesco Sardelli.
Stefano Squecco brings 30 years of experience and an international career in the luxury hotel industry, having previously managed Blakes Hotel London since 2019 and, prior to that, spent three years as Deputy General Manager at a luxury country hotel outside of London.
Stefano began his career at the front office at a luxury hotel in Switzerland, and then went on to work for several top European hotels such as the Rome Cavalieri – A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice and The Lanesborough London, which is now part of the Oetker Collection.
