Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced the launch of scheduled flights and holidays from Bristol Airport to Morocco for the first time.

A transport company is offering £2 tickets for coach trips across the UK to be taken up to May 12. With a £1 service fee, that means travellers planning journeys can book long-distance tickets from £3 on the FlixBus website or app.

For wealthier travelers, there are now lots of ways to fly private at both ends of the wealth spectrum—empty-leg flights are one of the cheapest ways to fly private, and at the other extreme, fractional jet programs are booming, as an alternative to owning your own private jet.

Two retirees were flown to the wrong island by UK-based airline Jet2 after being placed on a different flight even after their tickets were checked multiple times, several local news sites reported.

Flights to and from Sicily have been severely disrupted after a volcanic eruption on Sunday evening.

It’s 11pm in Bristol Harbour and the boat is rocking. Hometown shanty band The Longest Johns are on stage, belting out renditions of old maritime tunes while a sold-out, ale-fuelled crowd are singing along with gusto. That "most virtuous and wise son" was Edward Colston, a 17th-Century merchant who oversaw the enslavement of 84,000 Africans, 19,000 of whom are thought to have died en route to the Americas.
