JetBlue is on the move with new flight routes, while saying goodbye to others. Ahead of the winter travel season, the airline will add a variety of new routes to popular destinations such as Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Phoenix. “These moves underscore JetBlue's commitment to refining its network while leveraging its award-winning experience,” the airline shared in a release announcing the news.  In the New York area, the airline will begin new service from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport (ISP), with a new daily flight to Orlando, and also service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and West Palm Beach (VPS) four times a week.

Allegiant will add eight new nonstop routes across 13 different airports, the company announced early Tuesday. Introductory fares on the new routes start at $39 one way.

Canadian carrier Porter Airlines will double its flights to Florida in time for winter, making it easier for snowbirds to escape to warmer climes. 

American Airlines will add four new routes from New York City to Florida and Louisiana in the fall, expanding its warm-weather network in time for cooling temps.

Having a Priority Pass membership just got more valuable, as travelers can visit nearly a dozen more airport lounges in the U.S. before their next flight. “Escape Lounges has announced an extension of its partnership with Priority Pass, enabling Priority Pass members to access an additional 10 of its common-use airport lounges across the United States as well as the Escape Lounge at Syracuse Hancock International Airport,” the third-party lounge company shared on its website.
