An airline known for its semi-private service is expanding its footprint on the East Coast.
Starting in December, JSX will launch three nonstop routes between the Northeast and Florida.
The move will see the Dallas-based carrier significantly scale up its East Coast operation from a route map that is currently heavily concentrated in Texas, California and the Southwest.

Just before the holidays, JSX will begin one nonstop route from Morristown Airport (MMU) in New Jersey to Boca Raton Airport (BCT) in Florida and another from MMU to Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF), which is northeast of downtown Miami. Morristown sits in the suburbs of northern New Jersey, about 30 miles west of midtown Manhattan — or roughly an hour's drive (or more), depending on traffic.
Additionally, JSX will launch a new route from New York's Westchester County Airport (HPN) to BCT.
The new flights will be winter seasonal routes that will launch on Dec. 21, right as the end-of-year holiday travel rush is ramping up.
Behind the scenes: Touring JSX's ultra-spacious 1-1-configured jet
All of the JSX flights will be aboard 30-seat regional aircraft featuring what the airline calls business class-style legroom.
Branded by JSX as a hop-on jet service option for travelers, the airline offers flyers the chance to skirt the busiest airport crowds by departing from private terminals, at which they can arrive a mere 20 minutes before takeoff.
JSX passengers enjoy two checked bags, free beverages and snacks on board, and Starlink Wi-Fi, which TPG tested out earlier this year with impressive results.
Additionally, despite being a small carrier, passengers can earn United MileagePlus miles or JetBlue TrueBlue points when flying with JSX.
In all, JSX is adding two airports (Morristown and Boca Raton) and three routes to its schedule. Again, all new service launches on Dec. 21, with all flights operating five weekly round trips — once daily on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
Introductory fares will start at $669 one-way ($1,338 round trip), so a trip on JSX will certainly cost you more than a round trip in domestic first class. However, you'll enjoy the benefit of traveling in borderline private accommodations.
As close to private as it gets: Flying JSX's new route to LAX
Launched in 2016, JSX flies a fleet of Embraer 135 and 145 regional aircraft laid out in 1-1 or 1-2 configurations, depending on the jet.
With a home base at Dallas Love Field (DAL) in Texas, JSX has had a footprint that's mostly concentrated out West, operating flights to Phoenix, Denver, Los Angeles and the Bay Area, among other destinations — as shown on

For some families, visiting Walt Disney World during the holidays is a major bucket-list item, and, according to Jill Knonenborg, a travel agent who specializes in Disney destinations, it is the best season to visit.
Remember back in 2021 as Covid-led demand surged and many jet card providers offering fixed rates and guaranteed availability were closing off their programs to new members? Sentient Jet, Jets.com, Jet Linx, Airshare and Flexjet were among those that cranked the faucet shut with immediate effect. NetJets also stopped renewing existing members.
Die-hard fans of Southwest Airlines (you know who you are) recently got a welcome boost in service. The low-cost airline last week unveiled an expanded flight schedule that includes two dozen entirely new routes—six of them to international destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America—and six pre-existing routes that the airline is bringing back next year.
The first time I took my kids to Disney World, they were 3 and 5 years old. We lived in Maryland at the time. We made a few more trips during their younger years and eventually moved to a small beach town about 90 minutes from Disney when they were 6 and 8. Like any good Floridian, we signed up for annual Disney passes and started visiting more.
Picture it: After years of fantasizing and months of planning, you finally arrive at the destination you've always dreamed about. Except, it's just not how you pictured it.

As a born and raised Floridian who also went to college in the state, I was always dependent on a car to get around.
