airBaltic and Bulgaria Air have initiated a codeshare partnership effective from May 8, 2024, enhancing travel options between Latvia and Bulgaria and extending across Europe.
The new routes will be operated by Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
airBaltic is looking forward to resume flights to and from Ukraine following the reopening of Ukraine’s airspace. The airline is planning to launch daily flights from Kyiv, Lviv, and gradually Odesa, connecting these cities with Baltic capitals, as well as major European cities via Riga.
With plans to equip its entire A220-300 fleet with SpaceX’s Starlink inflight connectivity system, airBaltic aims to provide every passenger with seamless, high-speed internet access throughout their journey without hassles or login pages. From boarding to landing, internet access will be available to all passengers.
This new codeshare agreement will allow Delta to place its code on 20 airBaltic-operated routes to three of the Latvian carrier’s leading cities, including Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius.
