Spirit Airlines is making the weekend a bit sweeter with a 2-day sale that has one-way flights starting as low as just $43.
The sale, which must be booked by 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 16, is available for travel from Sept. 23 through Nov. 14, the airline shared with Travel + Leisure. The sale is not valid on travel on Fridays or Sundays, but has no other blackout dates.
“We’re sharing another opportunity for our Guests to save on their travel and make unforgettable memories,” Lania Rittenhouse, the vice president of guest experience, brand and communications for Spirit Airlines, said in a statement provided to T+L. “Those looking to save even more on travel this fall should look into joining the Spirit Saver$ Club. Members get exclusive fare offers, savings on bags, add-ons and other offers.”
Fly between Chicago and Atlanta, Baltimore and Fort Lauderdale, Boston and Miami, Denver and Las Vegas, New Orleans and Los Angeles, and more starting at just $43 each way. Travelers can also fly cross-country for less with flights between Newark and Oakland starting at just $76 each way and flights between Baltimore and Los Angeles starting at just $100 each way.
While the sale offers great deals, travelers who want to save even more can book their tickets in-person at the airport. That’s because Spirit waives its passenger usage fee for customers who book in person, which generally saves travelers around $23 per ticket each way.
Spirit is a low-cost airline and offers bare-bones tickets, charging for perks like baggage and seat selection. But travelers who belong to the airline’s paid yearly membership program, the Saver$ Club, receive discounts on those extras.
Earlier this year, Spirit also introduced a new status-matching program, which gives travelers access to those same types of perks for a fee.
Currently, JetBlue is working to complete the sale of Spirit, which it agreed to buy last year for $3.8 billion. The merger would make the airline the fifth largest in the country.

Wakefield is the UK’s unofficial city of sculpture. As the proud birthplace of the sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, it has two major art attractions in their honour. The whopping 500-acre Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP), and the Hepworth Wakefield. At the YSP, just outside the city and the biggest such park in Europe, sculptures by Moore and Hepworth are joined by ever-changing works by the likes of Ai Weiwei, Phyllida Barlow, Damian Hirst and many more.
