Delta Air Lines passengers will soon have another, more «premium,» lounge to head to in major airports throughout the United States this year.
The new spaces are coming to New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), the airline shared with Travel + Leisure on Thursday.
Opening first at JFK, the premium lounge will feature a chef’s kitchen, wellness area, and a large outdoor terrace that can be utilized all year. The lounge, which is scheduled to open in June 2024, will be the largest-ever for Delta, at 38,000 sq. feet.

The LAX and BOS lounges are both scheduled to open towards the end of 2024, with all three including «elements inspired by and unique to its host city.»
Parameters and guidelines as to who is eligible to enjoy the premium spaces are still finalized.
“Premium lounge customers should feel welcomed and known when they walk in the door, just as they would at their favorite hotel or restaurant," Delta’s Vice President for Sky Club and Lounge Experience Claude Roussel said in a statement. «We look forward to providing that warm welcome and making ‘premium’ feel personal for each guest.”
