The hospitality industry in Greece is preparing for a significant increase in the number of hotels, with the arrival of numerous international hotel brands such as Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and Six Senses. According to a new report by Travelworks, more than 60 hotel projects have recently been revealed. The report details that 40% of these new projects will operate under international brands, while domestic companies will lead the remaining 60%.

Common hotel amenities often range from happy hours, a fitness center and in-room dining, to a complimentary shuttle and spa services. Imagine something different such as getting a tattoo during your stay.

When Aegean Airlines revealed its latest uniforms last October, the Instagram announcement looked not unlike a teaser of a Jacquemus show. In it, models glided down a mirrored runway as the sea shimmered on the horizon, dressed in uniforms designed by Zeus+Dione, a fashion brand rooted in Greek craftsmanship. “The [colors] reflect the Greek landscape: deep Aegean blue alternating with sunlit silver-blue hues of rocky surfaces, along with washed-white shades reminiscent of the traditional architecture in the Cyclades and Dodecanese Islands,” said Zeus+Dione co-founder Dimitra Kolotoura.

The Middle East won big in the 2024 Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards, with Dubai leading the pack — the city earned the highest number of new Five-Star honors worldwide.

EaseMyTrip.com has entered the hospitality market with the announcement of a five-star hotel in Ayodhya. The online travel agency is investing up to INR 1 billion ($12 million) in the project through a joint venture with Jeewani Hospitality. Nishant Pitti, CEO and co-founder, EaseMyTrip, said that since January 22, more than 2.4 million visitors have gone to the pilgrimage city. This, he said, indicates a significant business opportunity.
