Ben Drew, president of Tripadvisor’s travel experiences brand Viator for the past four years, announced on Tuesday that he would leave the company on April 12 for “a new opportunity in a new industry.”

Corporate travel and expense management company Navan has bought India’s corporate travel startup Tripeur.

Hilton is outsourcing its property management system to the tech company HotelKey, replacing legacy systems at all 7,000 of the hotels under its brand. 

Vacation rental software maker Hostaway has raised $175 million. The funding round was led by PSG Equity, a Boston-based firm that invests in growth-stage software businesses. 

Kimberly Miles, the executive director of the Vacation Rental Management Association, acknowledges that there is a “new normal” for the sector this year as demand softens or over-supply takes hold in certain markets, but there is also a reset for the association in terms of unlikely allies and members.

Expensya, the corporate expense management startup, has been acquired.
