Katy Perry Vacations Hard, Especially When Traveling With Her Kid

Katy Perry is the reigning queen of the Mediterranean. Come summer, you can count on the emergence of paparazzi pics depicting the pop star smooching fiancé Orlando Bloom in Sardinia, catching dinner after a day of yachting in Dubrovnik, and jetskiing with her daughter Daisy in Saint-Tropez. It’s no wonder Perry vacations so hard, given the relentless pace of her music career. Later this week, she’ll end a six-year stint as judge on American Idol, and she wrapped up her wildly popular Las Vegas residency a few months ago. On a recent episode of Idol, she teased a new single, and her next album is expected later this year.

Four Seasons Boston Launches Very Important Kids Program With Scavenger Hunt

When my husband had a work trip one weekend, I needed to find something to do with my five-year-old son, Wilder, that was a quick trip from New York City. Boston immediately came to mind. I had gone to college there and always loved the city, but I wanted to experience it through a kid's eyes. The Four Seasons Boston, renowned for its innovative family-focused programming, seemed like the perfect destination. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, it was clear this would be a weekend filled with unique experiences.

Las Vegas' Mirage Hotel to Close This Summer — What to Know If You Have a Reservation

It’s the end of an era for a famed Las Vegas hotel.  The Mirage Hotel & Casino will officially close its doors on July 17. The 65-acre property will then undergo an extensive construction and re-open in 2027 as the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Guitar Hotel Las Vegas.  The Mirage’s transition to become the Hard Rock will visibly change the Las Vegas skyline, as a new 700-foot guitar will be built on the property, in a similar style as the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, FL. «While we pause for the incredible transformation of this iconic property, I'd like to thank all team members at The Mirage for their incredible commitment and helping us provide memorable experiences for our guests,» The Mirage’s President Joe Lupo said in a press release on Wednesday. For travelers looking to stay at the Mirage one last time before it closes, rates vary from $399 to $99 throughout the final months.

7 Best Supergoop Sunscreens, Tested and Reviewed (2024)

If there’s one item you consistently pack in your beach bag or fanny pack this summer, let it be sunscreen. To help you find a broad spectrum SPF product you actually love and want to use every day, we turned to one of our editors' favorite sunscreen brands—Supergoop. Condé Nast Traveler editors tested out every single Supergoop product—and measured its newer items against formulas we already know and love, like the viral Unseen Sunscreen—to help find you the very best sprays, lotions, and moisturizers to wear this summer and beyond.

Tell us about a garden in Europe – you could win a holiday voucher

From the Renaissance splendour and symmetry of the Boboli gardens in Florence to the trickling fountains and rose gardens of the Alhambra in Spain, Europe has no shortage of “must see” gardens, but a tranquil escape from the tourist crowds they are not. Instead, we’d love to hear about your favourite “secret gardens” in continental Europe; oases of green that offer cool respite from a busy sightseeing itinerary and where you won’t be jostling for elbow room with coach parties of tourists. It could be a leafy public park, the grounds of a museum or gallery, or a botanical garden that turned into an unexpected highlight of your trip.

Share a tip on an unsung UK seaside town – you could win a holiday voucher

In the last two decades many UK seaside towns have undergone a quiet transformation. Art galleries, boutique hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants are breathing new life into once down-at-heel resorts such as Blackpool and Margate, while coastal hotspots like Padstow, Southwold and Whitby continue to draw the crowds on sunny days. While these places are popular for good reason, we’d love to hear about your favourite “unsung” seaside towns – the places that don’t often grab the limelight or become unpleasantly overcrowded, but which have kept their charm intact. You could win a £200 holiday voucher (sorry if you were hoping for a cuddly toy or some candyfloss).
