Happy hump day, folks – let’s get into it. I was reading this latest report from Skift’s director of research Wouter Geerts: Airbnb vs Vrbo in 20 Charts, and here are a few stats I find interesting.

Consider this a precursor for a larger story later, but as someone who tracks short-term rentals, I find the events unfolding in Colorado nail-biting.

Good morning, readers. I was off the clock when this broke Monday night, but among the latest short-term rental alliances to sue a big city is one in Dallas. 

Nantucket’s short-term rental occupancy tax revenue reached an all-time high this summer. Short-term rentals operating on the Massachusetts island during June, July, and August generated $4.8 million in taxes for the Nantucket Finance Department, according to data obtained by the Nantucket Current.
